The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said while standing on the wooden boards of his pulpit, "People must stop neglecting the Friday prayers, or else Allah will seal their hearts, and they will become among the heedless."
أخبرنا محمد بن معمر قال حدثنا حبان قال حدثنا أبان قال حدثنا يحيى بن أبي كثير عن الحضرمي بن لاحق عن زيد عن أبي سلام عن الحكم بن ميناء أنه سمع
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال وهو على أعواد منبره لينتهين أقوام عن ودعهم الجمعات أو ليختمن الله على قلوبهم وليكونن من الغافلين
Sahih. Ahmad narrated it (1/254) from the hadith of Yahya bin Abu Kathir with this wording, and it is in Kubra, hadith no. 1658. Muslim also narrated it, in the Book of Friday Prayer, Chapter on the Severity of Neglecting Friday Prayer, hadith no. 865, from the hadith of Zayd, from Abu Salam, from Hakam bin Mina, from Abdullah bin Umar and Abu Hurairah, with this wording.
