The Prophet ﷺ granted us permission, when traveling, not to remove our leather socks for three days and their nights.
أخبرنا قتيبة قال حدثنا سفيان عن عاصم عن زر
رخص لنا النبي ﷺ إذا كنا مسافرين أن لا ننزع خفافنا ثلاثة أيام ولياليهن
Hasan. Tirmidhi reported it in the chapter on wudu, in the section on wiping over the socks for the traveler and the resident, hadith no. 96, and hadith no. 3535, and Ibn Majah reported it in the chapter on wudu, in the section on wudu after sleep, hadith no. 478, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna, transmitted through him. It is also found in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 144, and Tirmidhi said, hasan sahih.
