Nafi reported,

Ibn Umar met Ibn Sayyad on one of the streets of Madinah and said something to him that made him angry. He swelled up until he filled the lane.Ibn Umar then went in to see Hafsah, who had already heard what happened. She said to him, "May Allah have mercy on you. What did you want from Ibn Sayyad? Do you not know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'He will only emerge out of a fit of rage that overcomes him'?"

حدثنا عبد بن حميد حدثنا روح بن عبادة حدثنا هشام عن أيوب

عن نافع قال

لقي ابن عمر ابن صائد في بعض طرق المدينة فقال له قولا أغضبه فانتفخ حتى ملأ السكة فدخل ابن عمر على حفصة وقد بلغها فقالت له رحمك الله ما أردت من ابن صائد أما علمت أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إنما يخرج من غضبة يغضبها
