One day the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to his companions, "Tell me about a tree that resembles the believer."The people began mentioning various trees of the desert.Ibn Umar said, "It came into my mind, or was cast into my heart, that it was the palm tree, and I wanted to say so, but I saw the older men present and was too intimidated to speak."When they had fallen silent, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is the palm tree."
