I accompanied Ibn Umar to Madinah, and I did not hear him narrate anything from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ except a single hadith. He said, "We were with the Prophet ﷺ when the heart of a palm tree was brought to him." He then related a hadith similar to theirs.

صحبت ابن عمر إلى المدينة فما سمعته يحدث عن رسول الله ﷺ إلا حديثا واحدا قال كنا عند النبي ﷺ فأتي بجمار فذكر بنحو حديثهما
