Abdullah bin Masud reported,

A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned that he had gotten from a woman either a kiss or a touch with the hand or something of that sort, as though he were asking about its expiation. He said, then Allah revealed . Then he related it like the report of Yazid.He said, a man got something short of adultery from a woman, so he went to Umar bin Khattab, who made the matter out to be grave for him. Then he went to Abu Bakr, who also made it out to be grave for him. Then he went to the Prophet ﷺ, and he related it like the report of Yazid and Mutamir.

حدثنا عثمان بن أبي شيبة حدثنا جرير عن سليمان التيمي بهذا الإسناد قال أصاب رجل من امرأة شيئا دون الفاحشة فأتى عمر بن الخطاب فعظم عليه ثم أتى أبا بكر فعظم عليه ثم أتى النبي ﷺ فذكر بمثل حديث يزيد والمعتمر
