Abdullah bin Masud reported,

A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned that he had taken liberties with a woman, whether a kiss, a touch with the hand, or something of that nature, as if asking about its expiation. He said, "Then Allah revealed..." and then he mentioned the rest like the hadith of Yazid.
