Abu Musa Ashari reported,

The Prophet ﷺ sent him along with Muaz to Yemen and said to them, "Bring good news and do not drive people away. Teach them and do not be harsh." I believe he also said, "And cooperate with one another."When Abu Musa was leaving, he turned back and said, "Messenger of Allah, they have a drink made from honey that is cooked until it thickens, and another called mizr made from barley."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Anything that intoxicates a person away from prayer is forbidden."
