Anas bin Malik reported,

We were passing through Marr al-Zahran when we startled a hare. The others chased after it until they were worn out. The narrator said, "So I ran after it until I caught it. I brought it to Abu Talha, who slaughtered it and then sent its haunch and its thighs to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I took them to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he accepted them."In Yahya's version, the wording is "its haunch or its thighs."
