Anas bin Malik reported,

We were passing through Marr al-Zahran when we startled a hare. The people chased after it until they grew exhausted. I ran after it and caught it, then brought it to Abu Talha, who slaughtered it and sent its hindquarters and thighs to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I brought them to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he accepted them.
