Yala bin Umaya reported,

Yaala said, "I went out with the Prophet ﷺ on the expedition of Tabuk." He used to say that this expedition was the deed he counted most reliable in his record.Ata reported that Safwan said that Yaala said, "I had a hired workman who got into a fight with another man, and one of them bit the other's hand."Ata added, "Safwan did tell me which of the two bit the other, but I no longer recall it."The man whose hand was bitten pulled it out of the biter's mouth and in doing so yanked out one of his front teeth. The two of them went to the Prophet ﷺ, and he ruled that no compensation was due for the tooth.
