The sister of Rabi, Umm Haritha, wounded someone, and they brought the dispute before the Prophet ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Retaliation, retaliation."Umm Rabi said, "Messenger of Allah, will retaliation be taken from so-and-so? By Allah, retaliation will not be taken from her."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Glory be to Allah, Umm Rabi. Retaliation is the decree of Allah."She said, "No, by Allah, retaliation will never be taken from her."She kept refusing until they accepted the blood-money. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Among the servants of Allah are those who, if they swear an oath by Allah, He fulfills it for them."

أن أخت الربيع أم حارثة جرحت إنسانا فاختصموا إلى النبي ﷺ فقال رسول الله ﷺ القصاص القصاص فقالت أم الربيع يا رسول الله أيقتص من فلانة والله لا يقتص منها فقال النبي ﷺ سبحان الله يا أم الربيع القصاص كتاب الله قالت لا والله لا يقتص منها أبدا قال فما زالت حتى قبلوا الدية فقال رسول الله ﷺ إن من عباد الله من لو أقسم على الله لأبره
