When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ married Umm Salama and she had spent her first night with him, he said to her, "You are not held in low regard by your husband. If you wish, I will stay with you for seven nights, and if you wish, I will stay for three and then resume my rotation among the wives."She replied, "Stay for three."
