With this chain of narration, a similar report was transmitted. In the narration of Ibn Mubarak and Ibn Abu Zaida, Ibn Umar then recited, "So wherever you turn, there is the face of Allah" [Baqarah 2:115], and said, "Concerning this, the verse was revealed."
و حدثناه أبو كريب أخبرنا ابن المبارك وابن أبي زائدة ح و حدثنا ابن نمير حدثنا أبي كلهم
بهذا الإسناد نحوه وفي حديث ابن مبارك وابن أبي زائدة ثم تلا ابن عمر {فأينما تولوا فثم وجه الله} وقال في هذا نزلت
