The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The most burdensome prayers for the hypocrites are the Isha prayer and the Fajr prayer. If they knew the reward they contain, they would attend them even if they had to crawl. I have certainly considered ordering the prayer to be established, then commanding a man to lead the people in prayer, then setting out myself with Some men carrying bundles of firewood to a people who do not attend the prayer, and burning down their houses upon them with fire."
حدثنا ابن نمير حدثنا أبي حدثنا الأعمش ح و حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة وأبو كريب واللفظ لهما قالا حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن أبي صالح
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن أثقل صلاة على المنافقين صلاة العشاء وصلاة الفجر ولو يعلمون ما فيهما لأتوهما ولو حبوا ولقد هممت أن آمر بالصلاة فتقام ثم آمر رجلا فيصلي بالناس ثم أنطلق معي برجال معهم حزم من حطب إلى قوم لا يشهدون الصلاة فأحرق عليهم بيوتهم بالنار
