It was reported from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who mentioned several hadiths, among them that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I was about to order my young men to gather bundles of firewood for me, then command a man to lead the people in prayer, and then have the houses burned down upon those inside them."
و حدثنا محمد بن رافع حدثنا عبد الرزاق حدثنا معمر عن همام بن منبه قال هذا ما حدثنا
عن رسول الله ﷺ فذكر أحاديث منها وقال رسول الله ﷺ لقد هممت أن آمر فتياني أن يستعدوا لي بحزم من حطب ثم آمر رجلا يصلي بالناس ثم تحرق بيوت على من فيها
