Rabia bin Abdullah bin Hudayr reported that he once saw a man in Iraq who had stripped off his regular clothing, so he asked the people about him. They said, "He gave orders for his sacrificial animal to be garlanded, and that is why he has stripped off his clothes."Rabia said, "Later I met Abdullah bin Zubayr and mentioned this to him."Abdullah bin Zubayr said, "By the Lord of the Kaaba, that is an innovation!"
و حدثني عن مالك عن يحيى بن سعيد
عن ربيعة بن عبد الله بن الهدير أنه رأى رجلا متجردا بالعراق فسأل الناس عنه فقالوا إنه أمر بهديه أن يقلد فلذلك تجرد قال ربيعة فلقيت عبد الله بن الزبير فذكرت له ذلك فقال بدعة ورب الكعبة
