Yahya bin Saeed reported,

I asked Amra bint Abdul-Rahman about a man who sends his sacrificial animal ahead while he himself stays behind, whether anything becomes forbidden to him. She told me that she had heard Ayesha say, "Nothing becomes forbidden except to one who has entered the state of consecration and pronounced the talbiyah."
