Nafi reported,

Abdullah bin Umar used to say that a menstruating woman who enters the state of consecration for Hajj or Umrah may do so for her Hajj or Umrah whenever she wishes, but she is not to perform tawaf around the House, nor go between Safa and Marwa. She takes part in all the rites along with the people, except that she does not perform tawaf around the House, nor go between Safa and Marwa, and she does not approach the masjid until she becomes pure.

أن عبد الله بن عمر كان يقول المرأة الحائض التي تهل بالحج أو العمرة إنها تهل بحجها أو عمرتها إذا أرادت ولكن لا تطوف بالبيت ولا بين الصفا والمروة وهي تشهد المناسك كلها مع الناس غير أنها لا تطوف بالبيت ولا بين الصفا والمروة ولا تقرب المسجد حتى تطهر
