He asked Anas bin Malik, as the two of them were setting out in the morning from Mina to Arafah, "What did you all used to do on this day with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?"Anas replied, "Those among us who wished to call out the talbiyah would do so, and no one objected to him, and those who wished to proclaim Allah's greatness would do so, and no one objected to him."
حدثني يحيى عن مالك
أنه سأل أنس بن مالك وهما غاديان من منى إلى عرفة كيف كنتم تصنعون في هذا اليوم مع رسول الله ﷺ قال كان يهل المهل منا فلا ينكر عليه ويكبر المكبر فلا ينكر عليه
