Muhammad bin Ali bin Husayn reported,

Ali bin Abu Talib used to recite the talbiyah during Hajj, and when the sun passed its zenith on the day of Arafah, he stopped reciting the talbiyah.

و حدثني عن مالك

عن جعفر بن محمد عن أبيه

أن علي بن أبي طالب كان يلبي في الحج حتى إذا زاغت الشمس من يوم عرفة قطع التلبية
