Abdullah bin Umar used to say, "Whoever places his forehead on the ground should place his palms on whatever he places his forehead upon, and then when he rises he should raise them as well, for the hands prostrate just as the face prostrates."
و حدثني عن مالك
أن عبد الله بن عمر كان يقول من وضع جبهته بالأرض فليضع كفيه على الذي يضع عليه جبهته ثم إذا رفع فليرفعهما فإن اليدين تسجدان كما يسجد الوجه
