Abdullah bin Umar, when he prostrated, would place his palms on the same surface on which he placed his forehead. Nafi said, "I once saw him on a bitterly cold day, and he drew his palms out from beneath a hooded cloak he was wearing so that he could place them on the pebbles."
حدثني يحيى عن مالك
أن عبد الله بن عمر كان إذا سجد وضع كفيه على الذي يضع عليه جبهته قال نافع ولقد رأيته في يوم شديد البرد وإنه ليخرج كفيه من تحت برنس له حتى يضعهما على الحصباء
