Ata bin Yasar reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When a servant falls ill, Allah the Exalted sends two angels to him and says, 'Look and see what he says to those who visit him.' If, when they come to him, he praises Allah and glorifies Him, they carry that up to Allah , though He knows it already, and He says, 'My servant has a claim upon Me, that if I take his soul I shall admit him to Paradise, and if I heal him I shall replace his flesh with better flesh and his blood with better blood, and I shall wipe away his sins.'"

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إذا مرض العبد بعث الله تعالى إليه ملكين فقال انظرا ماذا يقول لعواده فإن هو إذا جاءوه حمد الله وأثنى عليه رفعا ذلك إلى الله عز وجل وهو أعلم فيقول لعبدي علي إن توفيته أن أدخله الجنة وإن أنا شفيته أن أبدل له لحما خيرا من لحمه ودما خيرا من دمه وأن أكفر عنه سيئاته
