The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah and His angels send blessings upon those who complete the rows, and whoever fills a gap, Allah raises him a degree by it."
حدثنا هشام بن عمار حدثنا إسمعيل بن عياش حدثنا هشام بن عروة عن أبيه
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن الله وملائكته يصلون على الذين يصلون الصفوف ومن سد فرجة رفعه الله بها درجة
[Hasan] * Hisham is from Hijaz, see hadith no. 595 regarding the defect in this chain, for the chain has corroborating witnesses in Ibn Hibban, no. 394, and the author of Targhib wa Tarhib, 1/322, and others.
