He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, when he bowed, "Glory be to my Lord the Magnificent," three times, and when he prostrated, he said, "Glory be to my Lord the Most High," three times.

أنه سمع رسول الله ﷺ يقول إذا ركع سبحان ربي العظيم ثلاث مرات وإذا سجد قال سبحان ربي الأعلى ثلاث مرات
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Mizzi reported it in Tahzib Kamal: 26/33 from the hadith of Ibn Majah through this same route, see hadith 330 for its defect * and Abu Azhar is obscure, and the hadith has supporting narrations, both marfu and mawquf, found in Ibn Abu Shayba and elsewhere.
