The Prophet ﷺ used to begin the recitation with "All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds" [Fatihah 1:2].
حدثنا نصر بن علي الجهضمي وبكر بن خلف وعقبة بن مكرم قالوا حدثنا صفوان بن عيسى حدثنا بشر بن رافع عن أبي عبد الله ابن عم أبي هريرة
أن النبي ﷺ كان يفتتح القراءة بـ {الحمد لله رب العالمين}
[Sahih]. Busiri said, "This chain is daif. Abu Abdullah Dawsi, the cousin of Abu Hurairah, is unknown in status, and Bishr is a jurist who is daif in hadith" (Taqrib), and it has sahih corroborating witnesses.
