The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abu Bakr, and Umar would begin the recitation with "All praise is due to Allah, Lord of all the worlds" [Fatihah 1:2].
حدثنا محمد بن الصباح أنبأنا سفيان عن أيوب عن قتادة عن أنس بن مالك ح و حدثنا جبارة بن المغلس حدثنا أبو عوانة عن قتادة
كان رسول الله ﷺ وأبو بكر وعمر يفتتحون القراءة بـ {الحمد لله رب العالمين}
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of adhan, in the chapter on what is said after the takbir, hadith no. 743, and Muslim narrated it in the Book of prayer, in the chapter on the argument of those who said the basmalah is not recited aloud, hadith no. 399, from the hadith of Qatada, with this same wording.
