The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to begin his recitation with "All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds" [Fatihah 1:2].
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن حسين المعلم عن بديل بن ميسرة عن أبي الجوزاء
كان رسول الله ﷺ يفتتح القراءة ب {الحمد لله رب العالمين}
Its chain of transmission was reported by Muslim, Prayer, Chapter on what encompasses the description of the prayer and what it opens and closes with, etc., hadith no. 498, from the hadith of Husayn Muallim through this same route, at greater length.
