Ayesha reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to rest his head in my lap while I was menstruating, and he would recite the Quran.

Bukhari narrated it in Kitab al-Hayd, Chapter: A man reciting while resting his head in his wife's lap while she is menstruating, etc., no. 297 and no. 7549, and Muslim in Kitab al-Hayd, Chapter: The permissibility of a menstruating woman washing her husband's head, no. 301, from the hadith of Mansur, through the same chain.
