The Prophet ﷺ would lean his head close to me while I was menstruating, during his time of seclusion in the mosque, and I would wash and comb his hair.
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة وعلي بن محمد قالا حدثنا وكيع عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه
كان النبي ﷺ يدني رأسه إلي وأنا حائض وهو مجاور تعني معتكفا فأغسله وأرجله
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Menstruation, Chapter on a menstruating woman washing her husband's head and combing his hair, hadith no. 295, from Hisham through the same chain, and it will come again at 1778, and from Ibn Jurayj, hadith no. 296.Muslim narrated it in the Book of Menstruation, Chapter on the permissibility of washing, etc., hadith no. 299, from Zuhayr bin Muawiya, both of them from Hisham through the same chain.
