The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever restrains his anger when he has the power to act on it, Allah will summon him before all of creation on the Day of Resurrection and let him choose whichever of the houris he wishes."
حدثنا حرملة بن يحيى حدثنا عبد الله بن وهب حدثني سعيد بن أبي أيوب عن أبي مرحوم
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال من كظم غيظا وهو قادر على أن ينفذه دعاه الله على رءوس الخلائق يوم القيامة حتى يخيره في أي الحور شاء
[Its chain of transmission is hasan] Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Manners, Chapter on One Who Suppresses His Anger, no. 4777, from the hadith of Ibn Wahb, through this route. Tirmidhi said, no. 2021, 2493, hasan gharib.
