The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are no people among whom acts of disobedience are committed, while they are more powerful and stronger than those committing them yet do not change the situation, except that Allah will encompass them all with a punishment."
حدثنا علي بن محمد حدثنا وكيع عن إسرائيل عن أبي إسحق
قال رسول الله ﷺ ما من قوم يعمل فيهم بالمعاصي هم أعز منهم وأمنع لا يغيرون إلا عمهم الله بعقاب
Its takhrij, [hasan] Ahmad related it (4/366) from Waki with this chain, and Abu Dawud related it (no. 4339) from the hadith of Abu Ishaq with this chain. Shubah also related it from him (Ahmad 4/364, and Tayalisi, no. 663). Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (nos. 1839, 1840), and Suyuti graded it hasan in Jami Saghir.
