The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There will be trials in which a man wakes up as a believer and goes to sleep as a disbeliever, except for the one whom Allah keeps alive through knowledge."
حدثنا راشد بن سعيد الرملي حدثنا الوليد بن مسلم عن الوليد بن سليمان بن أبي السائب عن علي بن يزيد عن القاسم أبي عبد الرحمن
قال رسول الله ﷺ ستكون فتن يصبح الرجل فيها مؤمنا ويمسي كافرا إلا من أحياه الله بالعلم
[Its isnad is daif] Darimi reported it, 97/1, no. 345, from the hadith of Walid, in the same manner. Busiri graded it daif because of Ali bin Yazid, as mentioned earlier at no. 228, and it has another defect as well. The essence of the hadith is sahih, apart from the clause "except one whom Allah revives through knowledge."
