The Messenger of Allah ﷺ woke from his sleep with his face flushed, saying, "There is no god but Allah. Woe to the Arabs from an evil that has drawn near. Today an opening has been made in the barrier of Yajuj and Majuj like this," and he formed a ring with his fingers to indicate the size.Zaynab said, "I asked, 'Messenger of Allah, will we be destroyed while the righteous are still among us?'"He replied, "Yes, when wickedness becomes widespread."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن الزهري عن عروة عن زينب ابنة أم سلمة عن حبيبة عن أم حبيبة
استيقظ رسول الله ﷺ من نومه وهو محمر وجهه وهو يقول لا إله إلا الله ويل للعرب من شر قد اقترب فتح اليوم من ردم يأجوج ومأجوج وعقد بيديه عشرة قالت زينب قلت يا رسول الله أنهلك وفينا الصالحون قال إذا كثر الخبث
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Tribulations, chapter on the saying of the Prophet ﷺ, "Woe to the Arabs from an evil that has drawn near," hadith 7059, from the hadith of Sufyan, through this route. Muslim also narrated it in the Book of Tribulations, chapter on the approach of tribulations and the opening of the barrier of Gog and Magog, hadith 2880, from Ibn Abu Shayba, through this route.
