The hair of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was wavy, reaching between his ears and his shoulders.

كان شعر رسول الله ﷺ شعرا رجلا بين أذنيه ومنكبيه
Bukhari related it in "Clothing," chapter on curly hair, no. 5905, and Muslim in "Virtues," chapter on the description of the Prophet'sﷺ hair, no. 2338, from the hadith of Jareer, through this same route.
