The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had hair that fell below the earlobes but above the shoulders.
حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن إبراهيم حدثنا ابن أبي فديك عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي الزناد عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه
كان لرسول الله ﷺ شعر دون الجمة وفوق الوفرة
[Its chain of transmission is hasan] Abu Dawud recorded it in "Combing the Hair," in the chapter on hair, no. 4187, from the hadith of Ibn Abu Zinad through this route, and Tirmidhi, no. 1755, said, hasan sahih gharib.
