The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed in a patterned cloak that had decorative markings on it. Afterward he said, "The markings on this cloak distracted me. Take it to Abu Jahm and bring me his plain anbijani cloak in return."
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Adhan, Chapter on Turning During Prayer, hadith no. 752, from the hadith of Sufyan through this route, and Muslim, in the Book of Mosques, Chapter on the Dislike of Praying in a Garment with Markings, hadith no. 556, from Ibn Abu Shayba through this route.
