Jibreel came down to the Prophet ﷺ with the practice of cupping on the two neck veins and the upper back.

Its isnad is extremely daif. Busiri graded it daif because of Adbaa, who is matruk (abandoned) and was accused of holding Rafidi views, as stated in Taqrib. His student is also matruk, and Ibn Hibban accused him of fabrication and said he was a Rafidi (Taqrib).Ibn Adi narrated it in 3/1187 from the hadith of Saad bin Tarif Iskaf through this route, with the hadith about cupping but in different wording than this.
