The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was cupped at Lahy Jamal on the middle of his head while he was in the state of ihram.
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا خالد بن مخلد حدثنا سليمان بن بلال حدثني علقمة بن أبي علقمة قال سمعت عبد الرحمن الأعرج قال سمعت
احتجم رسول الله ﷺ بلحي جمل وهو محرم وسط رأسه
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of the Penalty for Hunting, Chapter on Cupping for the One in Ihram, no. 1836, from Khalid bin Mukhlad, and Muslim narrated it in the Book of Hajj, Chapter on the Permissibility of Cupping for the One in Ihram, no. 1203, from Ibn Abu Shayba, from the hadith of Khalid.
