The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "What an excellent servant the cupper is. He removes blood, lightens the back, and clears the vision."
حدثنا أبو بشر بكر بن خلف حدثنا عبد الأعلى حدثنا عباد بن منصور عن عكرمة
قال رسول الله ﷺ نعم العبد الحجام يذهب بالدم ويخف الصلب ويجلو البصر
Its isnad is daif. Tirmidhi transmitted it in the Book of Medicine, chapter on cupping, no. 2053, from the hadith of Abbad, at length, and said, "Hasan gharib, we do not know it except from the hadith of Abbad bin Mansur." Hakim graded it sahih in 4/212, 410, and Dhahabi agreed with him on the first but said "no" on the second. See the preceding hadith regarding the weakness of Abbad.
