The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On the night I was taken on the night journey, I did not pass by any group of angels without them saying, 'Muhammad, instruct your nation to practice cupping.'"
حدثنا جبارة بن المغلس حدثنا كثير بن سليم سمعت
قال رسول الله ﷺ ما مررت ليلة أسري بي بملإ إلا قالوا يا محمد مر أمتك بالحجامة
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Tabarani narrated it in Al-Awsat, 4/125, no. 3210, from the hadith of Abdullah bin Salih, from Kathir bin Sulaim, and Busiri graded it daif. See no. 1862 for its defect, and no. 3477 as a corroborating witness for it.
