A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and spoke with him, and he began to tremble out of fear. The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Take it easy. I am no king. I am only the son of a woman who used to eat dried meat."Abu Abdullah said, Ismail alone connected its chain.

[Its chain is daif] Hakim graded it sahih according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs (3/48), and Dhahabi agreed with him, and Busiri graded it sahih.I did not find an explicit statement of Ibn Abu Khalid's hearing, mentioned earlier under hadith 1612, in this chain, rather it is explicitly stated in the mursal narration, and with Khatib (6/278). The mursal is more sahih, as Daraqutni and others have said.Hakim graded it sahih (2/466), and so did Dhahabi, according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs, by way of Abbad bin Awwam, from Ismail, from Qays, from Jareer, with the same wording.
