A man from the people of the Suffah called out to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he had finished the prayer and said, "Messenger of Allah, our land is a land of lizards. What do you say about eating the dabb lizard?"He replied, "It has reached me that it is a community that was transformed." He neither commanded that it be eaten nor forbade it.
