A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "I am obligated to sacrifice a camel, and I can afford one, but I cannot find one to purchase."The Prophet ﷺ instructed him to buy seven sheep and slaughter them instead.

أن النبي ﷺ أتاه رجل فقال إن علي بدنة وأنا موسر بها ولا أجدها فأشتريها فأمره النبي ﷺ أن يبتاع سبع شياه فيذبحهن
Its chain of transmission is daif. Ahmad narrated it: 312/1, from Muhammad bin Bakr, through this route. It also has another route with Bayhaqi: 5/169, from Ataa, through this route, but it is not sound from him, and Ataa practices tadlis as previously mentioned, h: 602, and it contains another defect.
