The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said regarding ostrich eggs broken by a person in a state of ihram that its compensation is its monetary value.

[Daif] Daraqutni reported it (2/250) from the hadith of Marwan bin Muawiya, and Busiri graded it daif.Ali bin Abdul-Aziz Ghurab was mentioned earlier, hadith 2474, and Abu Muhazzim Yazid is discarded (as stated in Taqrib), and it has daif corroborating narrations.
