Ibn Majah 3085

[Sahih]. Narrated by Abu Dawud, Foods, Chapter on eating hyena, no. 3801, from the hadith of Jareer, as above. Tirmidhi said, no. 851, this is a hasan sahih hadith. It was graded sahih by Bukhari, and by Ibn Khuzayma, nos. 2645, 2646, and by Ibn Hibban, nos. 979, 1068, and by Ibn Jarud, nos. 438, 439, and by Hakim, no. 979, on the criterion of the two Shaykhs, 1/452. Jareer said, I heard Abdullah bin Ubayd, according to Ibn Hibban and others, and Jareer was corroborated by Ismail bin Umaya and others.
