The Prophet ﷺ said, "There are five harmful creatures that may be killed whether one is in a state of ihram or not, the snake, the speckled crow, the mouse, the rabid dog, and the kite."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة ومحمد بن بشار ومحمد بن المثنى ومحمد بن الوليد قالوا حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة سمعت قتادة يحدث عن سعيد بن المسيب
أن النبي ﷺ قال خمس فواسق يقتلن في الحل والحرم الحية والغراب الأبقع والفأرة والكلب العقور والحدأة
Muslim narrated it in Hajj, in the chapter on what a person in ihram and others are encouraged to kill among animals both inside and outside the sanctuary, 67/1198, from Ibn Abu Shayba and Ibn Muthanna, with the same wording.
