The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed Hajj three times, twice before he migrated and once after he migrated from Medina. He combined an Umrah with his Hajj. The total of what the Prophet ﷺ brought and what Ali brought was a hundred sacrificial camels, among them a camel that had belonged to Abu Jahl with a silver ring in its nose. The Prophet ﷺ slaughtered sixty-three with his own hand, and Ali slaughtered the rest.He was asked who reported this. He said, Jafar from his father from Jabir, and Ibn Abu Layla from Hakam from Miqsam from Ibn Abbas.

حج رسول الله ﷺ ثلاث حجات حجتين قبل أن يهاجر وحجة بعد ما هاجر من المدينة وقرن مع حجته عمرة واجتمع ما جاء به النبي ﷺ وما جاء به علي مائة بدنة منها جمل لأبي جهل في أنفه برة من فضة فنحر النبي ﷺ بيده ثلاثا وستين ونحر علي ما غبر قيل له من ذكره قال جعفر عن أبيه عن جابر وابن أبي ليلى عن الحكم عن مقسم عن ابن عباس
Its chain of transmission is daif. Tirmidhi transmitted it in the Book of Hajj, in the chapter on how many times the Prophet ﷺ performed Hajj, hadith no. 815, from the hadith of Sufyan, from Jafar, from his father, from Jabir, with this wording, and he said it is unique. Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, hadith no. 3056.Thawri, mentioned previously, hadith no. 162.In the hadith of Ibn Abbas there are two flaws (854, 1192), and it has a corroborating mursal report in Bayhaqi, 4/342, though its chain is daif in addition to being mursal.
