The Prophet ﷺ set out in the depths of the night from al-Batha on the night of departure.
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا معاوية بن هشام عن عمار بن زريق عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم عن الأسود
ادلج النبي ﷺ ليلة النفر من البطحاء ادلاجا
Sourcing, [sahih] Ahmad related it, 6/78, from the hadith of Ammar through this chain, and Busiri graded it sahih. Bukhari also related it, 1772, and others, from the hadith of Amash through this chain, at greater length with slight variation, and the following hadith serves as a corroborating witness for it.
